Had a chance to bike on the 805 today. SANDAG closed the roads for a project. It was a lot of fun! So much of our space is taken up by cars.

Feeling rested today, but honestly, I think I’m going to take it easy today. It’s been a long week. I need to shop for a microwave oven because Liza broke our existing one (the handle came off). I think I’m going to buy a Kenmore one from Best Buy since they offer free installation.

Woke up very early today, at 4am. Tried to go back to sleep, but couldn’t. Decided to clean and get started with my tasks for the day. Right now, I’m working on Fiber Club.

Upgraded from my ISP’s garbage all-in-one fiber gateway/router to an Unifi Dream router and I see now why a) people rave about it, and b) why they charge a premium. I should’ve done this way earlier. The Bulgarian Folk Festival was a lot of fun. I learned a lot about Bulgarian culture. Their food, for instance, is freaking delicious, and I’m pretty sure even I can manage their line dancing. Still, I think it’s a three beer minimum if you expect me to dance.

Contributed 4 PRs for Octoberfest to the Play Framework project. I think they are good contributions. We’ll have to wait for the maintainer to see what they think. Today I’m planning on doing more Fiber Club work, House maintenance work, and going to a Bulgarian festival in north county.
