It’s cold for San Diego, ok!?

That was the first layoff I’ve done as a manager. I am feeling very sad. I drank tonight. I’ve had no sleep. 🙁

…sigh, tomorrow is going to be very uncomfortable…

Today I’m going to mostly focus on prepping for Pi Day.

Nosferatu was a crazy movie. I really liked it. Liza disagrees. Most visually beautiful horror movie I’ve seen. Maybe Suspiria comes close?

Debating writing a long-form article about SDFC. It’s been on my mind, a lot.

I left a car light on for 24 hours, but the car turned on fine. Left it running for 10 minutes just in case, and charged the jump started just in case.

Oh, that’s right. I forgot to leave the house again. Los Angeles is on fire. San Diego will probably be on fire this weekend or the next week.

Hey, so there wasn’t an insurrection yesterday. So I guess that’s progress? The seed scripts for Fiber Club are so awesome. I’ve never done anything like that, but the system is now quite comprehensive, maintainable, easy to onboard, and because the models use get_or_create, they’re safe to run multiple times. They also double as documentation…

Long day, but getting lots of stuff done. Proud of my team, particularly C.
