There&#8217;s a particular stubbornness that video games bring out that nothing else does; I couldn&#8217;t tell you why this one save mattered so much, only that giving up on it wasn&#8217;t really an option once I&#8217;d started. In the evening I settled into more of Slow Horses, which keeps earning the time I put into it.
