Overall, a great Friday! Liza decided that each Friday during the summer she was going to cook a meal. I am very happy about her decision because a) I get to eat delicious food, and b) her cooking is improving. She’s going to be a master chef next thing you know it, and I’m probably going to gain more weight, haha.
Talked to the contractor about the house work. They’re not done. They still have work on Monday. Almost there! I can’t believe the flood was in January and here we are on the last day of May and the repairs are still not complete. And that’s just the repairs. The lawsuit with the city will easily go into 2025 unless the city decides to settle out of court. It’s a marathon.
I think the journal entry yesterday was too much. I never cover what I do or hope to do in any journal entry. Three paragraphs seems about right to be sustainable. Yeah, let’s stop here.
