The entire situation with Chucky Lozano is very upsetting. People think it’s because I’m a Chucky fan. They’re wrong. I could care less about retaining him. It’s upsetting because they’re revealing what fucking amateurs they are when it comes to player management. Now the club is either going to have to buy out Lozano, or negotiate for a replacement. Nobody will offer the club a deal when they know they need a player asap. Athletics aside, you don’t get rid of your marquee player without a plan. They have no plan for the marketing, no cohesive strategy around anything, Tom Penn is absent. A complete and utter shitshow from Tyler Heaps and Mikey Varas.
