Up before the sun for a ride this morning, out into a neighborhood that clearly wasn’t designed with bikes in mind. Every intersection turned into a small negotiation with traffic, cars that didn’t expect anyone to be there and a route that never quite settles into something you can relax on. Still, getting out early paid off twice over, since it left the rest of the morning open and I worked through my list well ahead of schedule.
