In a slightly better mood now that I figured out this data science script. As smart as they are, they are not software engineers. Some of this code was really, really bad. But we’re getting through it. And it’s a reminder that if there’s a very messy project and they assign it to you, chances are it’s because you are experienced enough to get it done. AI can’t replace us, yet, but it sure made my job easier and faster.
