Today marks the start of our “found-it-pound-it” hackathon, which is a 2-day long bug fixing event. It’s quite boring… Wish my boss had at least gotten a little creative with it, but the extent of his creativity was “It’s Star Wars themed” and then threw on one Star Wars slide. One day I will be in charge of the hackathons.
I learned that one of the top sales people at my company left for a competitor. This was after another top sales person left, and the President was fired. This is starting to make me a little antsy. This is why I’m very conservative with my finances. If I were to lose my job, it would suck, but not the end of the world. To be honest, I might even welcome it because then I would have more time to fix the stupid house.
Other noteworthy thing is more Fiber Club discussions with Liza. I’m sure there will be a blog post at one point. Liza has taken the flooding a little harder than me. That’s ok. We’re a team.
