The election results still have me in good spirits, and feeling more patriotic than is my habit. The rest of the day belonged to Baldur’s Gate 3, which has turned tedious in its last act. I had thought the scattered body parts of Dribble the clown an hour’s errand; it took most of the day. Worse was the ambush on the way to his head, where a single shove from a bridge killed my character outright and left nothing to do but reload. The second attempt went better once I saw the ground as the weapon: ice on the bridge, so the man rushing me could not hold his footing. A small victory, and one I had to buy with a reload.
